It may only be released next month, but that’s still far too long for me. At least it’s up for preorder (as above)…

I hear that they’re going to cut the DVD down to around two hours in the final version, AND include S/mileage? Sounds terribly silly if it’s true. Hopefully if they do it’s on an extras thing… the opening is perfect the way it is (and possibly my favourite song of the night, even). Lots of the newer songs at this concert. I must’ve played the opening alone about fifty times this week alone… and I don’t think I’m exaggerating. I think it’s justified for me to refer to it as one of the best H!P concert openings in recent memory, yes?

The three graduating girls’ solo songs were great. Eri was amazing, as usual, but I kind of missed all the “hip hi hop”ping with Aika last year. I dearly wish Linlin had got Furusato, because I’ve been dying to hear her sing it, but Junjun pulled it off nicely and Lin did a lovely Watarasebashi anyway.

When I first heard that Namidacchi was the final song I did a sort of double-take – but it WORKS. I was shocked.

Watching the final show made me realise just how much I was going to miss them all, especially Eri and Linlin. The day I unwrap the DVD will be really bittersweet, I think.
In the meantime, I have to get used to the 9th gen… this ought to be interesting.
